Penang Trip_Family Vacation

 See... the Pearl Island from the bird eye view, Penang Bridge and the newly constructed 2nd bridge at the lower left of the picture. The small island is the Jerejak Island.

Flying Firefly from Kota Bharu direct to Penang was a great experience for me, my wife, my not so little sister, aunty and my beloved mum. Thanks Firefly for introducing the new route to Penang and Penang to KB. You know the fare was really damm cheap at promotion rate. RM47 each oneway! And we also fly Firefly from Penang to Subang/KL at RM9.00 Nett ONLY. Plus they serve drink and muffin/cake. It was my mum and sister's first air trip!

View in Batu Feringhi Beach near our hotel... nicely blue at 6pm when the sea level drop. The sunset then was quite nice. We at East Coast only familiar with sun rise in the morning at Kelantan & Terengganu beaches.

GOES 2008

Now I am participating in Global Operational Excellence Symposium 2008 - the third one - in Miri, Sarawak - Borneo BIG Island. Something about Oil and Gas, history and nature. Miri is the 1st place in Malaysia, where oil was dicovered. Bezanya waktu itu, minyak dijumpai di darat - tidak jauh dari pantai. Tetapi kini semuanya di laut dalam. Why? I'll tell you later ;)

Today i fly from Kuantan to KLIA to Miri Airport. My 2nd time to Miri - something that I have been waiting for since my 1st visit was very-very short. 12 hours! with flight delay. Oh, it really makes me phobia! Tha's why I took afternoon flight today. To prevent from any crazy delay-fly-Uturn to KLIA-and re-fly at 1200-mid night. Teruk kan?

Tapi tidak hari ini. Perjalanan lancar dan tepat waktu... boleh makan lagi. Di atas awan ye... dulu tu bulan puasa, seksa aku menahan godaan nafsu. meleleh air liur tengok orang Iban sebelah tengah menjamu selera dalam flight. No respect! hehehe. biarlah dia orang makan. So aku tidur je..

Last time I slept in Marriot Miri for only 4 hours with full price. Now I'm staying in Mega Hotel - exactly in town.

Just now, i had dinner not so far from the hotel at Chillipepper Restaurant, and I tried local disches; Nasi Lelapan Talapia- yang boleh di pilih dari pelbagai sajian lain. Selain ikan ada juga ayam. Daging tak ada yer! Sila lihat gambar. It look simple as it taste, but it must be tried. I believe, we have to try any local Halal food wherever we go in this world. So it unites us with local taste and culture. Be open minded and ready to change. Then you will enjoy the trip. Beleive me!

So what our first agenda tomorrow? Mmmm we start with something interesting. Nature Discovery - visiting and dicover Niah Cave and its jungle.... Harap-harap tak hujan.

At last my dream almost become true.... another 3 hours to go, another 8 hours to arrive at destination. Aahhhh!

We were from Kuantan and I suddenly decided to stop and see what was happening at this beach during this monsoon-end season. Kemunculan bendere Union Jack tu macam melambai-lambai kedatangan aku ke negera bekas penjajah itu...mmm. Bendera Great Britain ke Australia ni??

Kalau dah rezeki... someone, which is not so close to me but I know him laa, belanja makan tengahari. MMMMM... best. Adik-adik trainee rugi hampa tak ikut! Berlalu dengan satu pertanyaan, I don't know what to say. Yes or no?? Ya Allah, please tell me...

Packing... another traveling job! Kali ini jauh sekali. As I always believe, I will get what I want. This job will also motivate peers and myself to do the best... lain kali korang pula, rezeki masing-masing. I'll miss you...

September'07 Story

There were so many things - interesting and important thing - happened in last Sept. It's about every thing; career, friendship - new friends, Ramadhan, traveling - 1st time to 'oversea', Ketupatians, love, party, beach and one last thing which I almost forget to mention is family -something that we don't really have to mention, coz everyone has family technically or biologically.

That things -not including my business- really make me busy and alive, but the most important thing is it makes me enjoy and happy with this life. There is a lot of way to find happiness and there is happiness waiting for you, for us anywhere as long as we always think positively and look for it. So...tanpa membuang masa lihatlah hasil 'September dalam kenangan'.

Good bye Alham. I wish you all the best for your new 'small' family living in big house...the baby is coming! And not too late to wish u 'Selamat Pengantin Baru' again formally. Formally?? Hahaha... Our house now is 'empty' without you, man! Kasiiiiii

Part 1: Kota Bharu Bandaraya Islam

Laman rehat di antara Pasar Siti Khadijah dan Bazaar Buluh Kubu, one of shopping paradise for Batik, Songket, kraft and all wet market stuff and traditional food. Aku agak bertuah - sambil jalan-jalan tu nampak 2 ekor burung merpati putih sedang ber'love'-love atas pancuran air ni. Can you see the couple?

Pasar Borong @ Pasar Malam Wakaf Che Yeh - 24 hours business, which make the city sleepless.

Another view...pick hours is at 10 - 12 midnight. Bunga RM 1.00 sebatang kalau beli sendiri. Kalau aku jual RM 1.30 sebatang termasuk minyak dan parking. Hari tu ada seorang awek ni kirim bunga ni...bila balik KB aku beli la. Malu juga la nak beli ni tapi terpaksa...

Makanan-makanan pencuci mulut yang aku beli. Murah je... Laksa Penang dan Rojak Mee tu se'rial' je satu bungkus, Yong Tau Fu yang sedap ni RM2-3.00 jer, Murtabak RM 1.20 - 1.50 satu. Yang lain nya murtabak kat KB ni original recipe tau...bukan tebal dengan bawang dan kentang macam kat KL, UTP, Kerteh atau mana-mana tapi penuh dengan telor dan daging atau ayam. Aroma pun memang berlainan dari rempah yang sebenar!

To all my friends in overseas; Malaysia will be celebrating Independence Day on 31st August... makin tua ni makin bersemangat ya!

Mmmm...like my niece aged 3-4 years always said ' I don't know...' Budak-budak ni kecik-kecik dah pandai macam-macam. Mantap! satu perkataan yang aku terkezut juga bila disebut anak saudara aku yang berumur 7 tahun. Tak sangka dah tahu guna perkataan hebat macam ni. Ayat dia 'kakak suka Ella...mantap!' suatu ketika sewaktu tengok video klip penyanyi mantap tu kat TV. ish3

I don't know...lately mcm tak bersemangat je, malas, tak productive..apa kena ntah! Even nak up-date blog ni pun dah selalu tertangguh.. I don't know!

Bercuti sambil kerja sikit-sikit di suatu weekend di Swiss-Garden

Apa-apa pun hari-hari yang dilalui tidak la teruk sangat. Sempat lagi berlawak-jenaka di mana-mana, relaxkan minda dan keluar ambil angin... ini yang dikatakan duit bukan segalanya, Oppss! mcm banyak lak duit walhal cukup2 je. Tapi agak terkejut la dgn akaun aku lately, tiba-tiba bertambah-tambah. Dari mana ntah...dari Tuhan off course.

So, malas nak membebel lagi...apa-apa pun tetap menyeronokkan. Aku gumbira! Jom kita layari semula kisah suka suka..

Main bowling malam-malam buta dengan Ijat selepas check-in hotel di Beserah, keluar makan malam di Planet Seafood. Masakan amat memuaskan! Al-nasib baiknya aku menang 2-2 game. Tiba-tiba pulak power, tapi main baru-baru ni bertiga dgn seorang budak Hafiz HSE aku pula tiba-tiba tersangat tak perform. Penat kot! heheh

Oh ya, terlupa cakap yang weekend tuh amat-amat la seronok tak tergambar dgn kata-kata, lebih-lebih lagi dapat kenal kawan-kawan majoritinya muda-muda dan sampai sekarang semangat tu masih wujud. Masa tu la buat semua benda yang tak pernah buat atau jarang-jarang buat selama ini. Jangan salah sangka, kita orang main beach volley ball, pergi gym, Jakuzi ramai-ramai sampai orang dah padam suiz baru nak keluar, mandi kolam sesama sambil berposing-posing dan tidak lupa juga sauna...uhhhh best! hampir terlupa yang tujuan sebenar ke situ nak jadi faci budak budak sekolah rendah. Bilik, makan minum, bilik air, view semua best.

Dinner with new friends...makanan pun sedap, aku suka giler design tempat makan tu dengan perabut ala kayu yang memang menggoda.

'Children' drawing...terpaksa aku jadi kanak-kanak balik dan lukis pun mcm budak-budak. Looks like a brilliant kid!

Pasta kegilaan ku...western habis! tak makan nasi tu..

mmm cukup la eh, nanti korang bosan. walau pun banyak lagi gambar yang lebih menarik, sorry privacy tak boleh tunjuk semua. Kena cut hehehe
