GOES 2008

Now I am participating in Global Operational Excellence Symposium 2008 - the third one - in Miri, Sarawak - Borneo BIG Island. Something about Oil and Gas, history and nature. Miri is the 1st place in Malaysia, where oil was dicovered. Bezanya waktu itu, minyak dijumpai di darat - tidak jauh dari pantai. Tetapi kini semuanya di laut dalam. Why? I'll tell you later ;)

Today i fly from Kuantan to KLIA to Miri Airport. My 2nd time to Miri - something that I have been waiting for since my 1st visit was very-very short. 12 hours! with flight delay. Oh, it really makes me phobia! Tha's why I took afternoon flight today. To prevent from any crazy delay-fly-Uturn to KLIA-and re-fly at 1200-mid night. Teruk kan?

Tapi tidak hari ini. Perjalanan lancar dan tepat waktu... boleh makan lagi. Di atas awan ye... dulu tu bulan puasa, seksa aku menahan godaan nafsu. meleleh air liur tengok orang Iban sebelah tengah menjamu selera dalam flight. No respect! hehehe. biarlah dia orang makan. So aku tidur je..

Last time I slept in Marriot Miri for only 4 hours with full price. Now I'm staying in Mega Hotel - exactly in town.

Just now, i had dinner not so far from the hotel at Chillipepper Restaurant, and I tried local disches; Nasi Lelapan Talapia- yang boleh di pilih dari pelbagai sajian lain. Selain ikan ada juga ayam. Daging tak ada yer! Sila lihat gambar. It look simple as it taste, but it must be tried. I believe, we have to try any local Halal food wherever we go in this world. So it unites us with local taste and culture. Be open minded and ready to change. Then you will enjoy the trip. Beleive me!

So what our first agenda tomorrow? Mmmm we start with something interesting. Nature Discovery - visiting and dicover Niah Cave and its jungle.... Harap-harap tak hujan.

At last my dream almost become true.... another 3 hours to go, another 8 hours to arrive at destination. Aahhhh!

We were from Kuantan and I suddenly decided to stop and see what was happening at this beach during this monsoon-end season. Kemunculan bendere Union Jack tu macam melambai-lambai kedatangan aku ke negera bekas penjajah itu...mmm. Bendera Great Britain ke Australia ni??

Kalau dah rezeki... someone, which is not so close to me but I know him laa, belanja makan tengahari. MMMMM... best. Adik-adik trainee rugi hampa tak ikut! Berlalu dengan satu pertanyaan, I don't know what to say. Yes or no?? Ya Allah, please tell me...

Packing... another traveling job! Kali ini jauh sekali. As I always believe, I will get what I want. This job will also motivate peers and myself to do the best... lain kali korang pula, rezeki masing-masing. I'll miss you...

Terasa sudah lama amat aku tidak bercerita di sini, kerana kekurangan masa terluang. Ada-ada saja hal yang lebih menarik, penting atau yang perlu di beri lebih perhatian. Hidup umpama kekal selamanya, walaupun aku sedar hidup ini tidak lama. Sementara.

Sepi aku 2-3 bulan ini kerana banyak sebab; kerjaya, keluarga, sahabat handai, soal hati dan perasaan, kasih sayang, pengorbanan, semua adalah cabaran yang semakin lama semakin indah. Kesibukan waktu membuatkan aku seakan terlupa dengan pelbagai persoalan, jerit perih dan liku-liku yang tertanggung semenjak dua menjak ini. Walaupun pada mata kasar aku ceria seperti selalu, tekun bekerja - hehe - tapi dalam hati ini ada soalan besar yang belum terjawab. Ada hati yang tersenyum, ada jiwa yang menjerit, ada kasih yang tergantung tapi hidup perlu diteruskan, aku gembira...

Kekadang aku terpikir, kesibukan akhir-akhir ini membuatkan aku lupa pada semua keperitan melalui liku-liku sebagai manusia bernama aku, tapi pada waktu yang sama aku mula sedar bahawa kesibukan ini jua lah yang membuatkan aku terlupa pada soal hati dan penantian. terhilang punca, hilang lah semuanya....bagaikan kapas-kapas putih bersih berterbangan dihembus angin. Tidak bisa ku kejar, lalu kapas yang pernah melekat di dada ini terbang pergi. Harapan tidak menjanjikan kota, harapan umpama doa. Termakbul jua jika Allah mengizinkan. lalu apa guna berbisik sedih, semuanya ketentuan...macam lagu Ramlah Ram tuh. hehe.

September'07 Story

There were so many things - interesting and important thing - happened in last Sept. It's about every thing; career, friendship - new friends, Ramadhan, traveling - 1st time to 'oversea', Ketupatians, love, party, beach and one last thing which I almost forget to mention is family -something that we don't really have to mention, coz everyone has family technically or biologically.

That things -not including my business- really make me busy and alive, but the most important thing is it makes me enjoy and happy with this life. There is a lot of way to find happiness and there is happiness waiting for you, for us anywhere as long as we always think positively and look for it. So...tanpa membuang masa lihatlah hasil 'September dalam kenangan'.

Good bye Alham. I wish you all the best for your new 'small' family living in big house...the baby is coming! And not too late to wish u 'Selamat Pengantin Baru' again formally. Formally?? Hahaha... Our house now is 'empty' without you, man! Kasiiiiii

Laman rehat di antara Pasar Siti Khadijah dan Bazaar Buluh Kubu, one of shopping paradise for Batik, Songket, kraft and all wet market stuff and traditional food. Aku agak bertuah - sambil jalan-jalan tu nampak 2 ekor burung merpati putih sedang ber'love'-love atas pancuran air ni. Can you see the couple?

Pasar Borong @ Pasar Malam Wakaf Che Yeh - 24 hours business, which make the city sleepless.

Another view...pick hours is at 10 - 12 midnight. Bunga RM 1.00 sebatang kalau beli sendiri. Kalau aku jual RM 1.30 sebatang termasuk minyak dan parking. Hari tu ada seorang awek ni kirim bunga ni...bila balik KB aku beli la. Malu juga la nak beli ni tapi terpaksa...

Makanan-makanan pencuci mulut yang aku beli. Murah je... Laksa Penang dan Rojak Mee tu se'rial' je satu bungkus, Yong Tau Fu yang sedap ni RM2-3.00 jer, Murtabak RM 1.20 - 1.50 satu. Yang lain nya murtabak kat KB ni original recipe tau...bukan tebal dengan bawang dan kentang macam kat KL, UTP, Kerteh atau mana-mana tapi penuh dengan telor dan daging atau ayam. Aroma pun memang berlainan dari rempah yang sebenar!

Someone has reminded me to up-date this blog, yeah! I know that I did not write anything here since last 2 -3 weeks. Woww! Seems like too busy to write...because there are a lot of fun and good things happened these days. And now I have taken about more than 200 pics since 1st July. Banyak kan? Akhirnya sibuk untuk bercerita. Stuck somewhere in looking for which pics should I share here.

I don't know what to say, what to write here anymore. So tired to think...whatever! enjoy the pictures below. Just for you...taken during my great family holiday in KL last few weeks.

Shopping with Dean at Ikea...ada la beli 2 3 jenis barang-barang keperluan rumah. Amboi! Dean bukan main seronok masa tu. Me too! I would buy all I want if I have lots of money.

Shopping or window shopping here make you feel like living in dream world. Can't you see how happy Dean was? Good model of mine anyway!

Shopping again in Bukit Raja, accompanied my 2 younger sisters, her friend and my mom. Saja bawa adik-adik dan bonda jalan-jalan Klang je sambil beli barang-barang keperluan adik bongsu aku yang baru saja mendaftar masuk U, further study for Degree in Accounting.

Memandangkan memang aku tengah servey kasut baru sebagai ganti kasut lama yang bertahun-tahun lamanya, apa lagi..shopping! After 2 3 time entering the shop, try and try, at last the sales girl smile after I decided to buy one. So, which one do you think is my choice? I was looking for simple, nice but bi-event design. So, which one?

Lepak at Kopitiam in Taipan, USJ after meeting a girl-friend at Marriot, Putrajaya. I drove with Dean too after dinner with Jeff. On the way back to Shah Alam, Dean said ' dahaga', so we went to this Kopitiam. Unplanned, I met my Rantau housemate, Af aka my gym trainer with his friends. Keciknya dunia...and what we ordered? Classic coffee and baked bread with kaya. So delicious!
At KUTPM registration day for my sister. Saja je bagi support sebagai ketua keluarga walaupun dia boleh saja pergi sorang sebab dah biasa dengan Shah Alam dan dah siap ada rumah dan kawan-kawan yang menuggu di sana. Teringat time aku masuk U dulu ramai yang hantar, so biarlah kali ini aku buat benda yang sama pada adik aku. She need good support kan?

I work in Kerteh. So, beberapa hari sebelum tu Bonda and sister datang ke kerteh dulu supaya kita dapat gi KL sama-sama. Semuanya idea aku. Maknanya dah 2 kali mak aku datang bermalam di rumah aku di Rantau ni. Kebetulan housemate lain ntah mana pergi, tinggal seorang dua saja. Dan rumah aku amat besar.

Pagi sebelum bertolak ke KL, mak aku masak apa yang ada kat dapur. Sardin, telor goreng dan nasi. Lebihan makan pagi kami bawa sebagai bekal, dan tanpa di duga hujan dan sesak teruk di KL. Aku makan nasi bekal sambil drive gear 2. Saya ulangi: makan sambil memandu..I was really enjoy the driving with family, ketawa riang. Bukan selalu dapat bersama kan?
